That is why we offer easy returns! Just read through our return policy and then let’s make you happy!
We offer three options:
- Store Credit and Free Shipping:
Receive a Maddy James store credit for the amount of your return, and we will pay for the postage!
- We must receive your return within 30 days of the original order shipment date (as printed on your packing slip) to be eligible for free return shipping.
- Store credits are not redeemable for cash or gift certificates.
- Only one free shipping offer per order.
- Returns received after 30 days requesting store credit will be charged a $6.00 shipping fee.
Receive a refund back to your original payment method, less return shipping when you use our shipping label.
- Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund total at the time your return is processed. Your refund will be applied to your original payment method minus this fee.
- Return shipping costs will be applied once per return (not once per order). If you are returning multiple items from one order, avoid additional costs by returning them together.
- We are unable to switch refunds to a new or different payment method other than what was originally used on your order.
You love it but it’s not quite right? Well send it back, and as long as it’s in stock we will send you the right one.
- We will exchange your item for any other item currently in stock. The original item will be credited based on the price originally paid, and any new item will be charged at its current sale price. Any difference owed to the customer will be provided in store credit. Any difference owed to Maddy James will be charged to the customer.
Currently, we are only able to process exchanges for domestic (US) customers.
- Exchanges are free when you use the shipping label we provide
Some other things you should know:
To qualify for a return, items must be received by our Fulfillment Center within 30 days of your original order shipment date (as printed on your packing slip). Exchanges must be received within 90 days.
Items Not Eligible for Refund or Store Credit:
- Items marked as final sale.
- Free gifts or promotional items with retail value.
- Returns received in damaged/worn condition.
- Returns received after 90 days of the original order shipment date.
- Shipping charges, except in cases where we have made a shipping error.
Items Eligible for Store Credit Only:
Returns received by Maddy James between 31 and 90 days after the original order shipment date (as printed on your packing slip) are not eligible for free return shipping and will have return shipping costs deducted from the store credit amount.
What if I need to return a gift?
If you received an order from Maddy James as a gift, you can still return! We'll issue you a Maddy James store credit for the amount of the returned item(s) to your account. (Sign up for a free Maddy James account here!) Please email us at email@example.com to get your free shipping label.
Gift returns are not eligible for cash refunds or exchanges; store credit only.
